Don Balon seem to have swapped their Mohamed Salah obsession for a Harry Kane one, and it seems like all the stories they went through for the Liverpool player will now be drawn out for Tottenham too.
Given the English tabloids pick up what Don Balon say, and they’ve even been on the front page of The Sunday Times sport section as a source, it’s worth pointing out how utterly ridiculous they are.
Not so long ago, Don Balon ruled out the prospect of Kane moving to Real Madrid, because it was just expensive, he’s just too English, and Daniel Levy is fearsome.
Earlier this week it was stated agreement on Kane to Madrid is ‘total’ and Gareth Bale would be involved in the deal. The transfer was estimated by the La Liga side at around €175m, which combines €85m worth of money and €90m worth of Welsh winger.
Now Don Balon again say Florentino Perez has got his man and go for the €175m figure. Madrid would part with €100m plus Bale, which is a difference of €15m in a couple of days.
It’d probably be better if they picked a story and stuck to it. As for Kane himself, it’s assumed the Tottenham player would agree to the move.
