If there is a need that Inter Milan have right now, it’s a new midfielder, and they could turn their attention to Tottenham to get him.
That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by Calciomercato, who reveal that Tanguy Ndombélé is one of the avenues being monitored by the Serie A side.
They will know the Tottenham man well from his time at Napoli last season, and will have witnessed first hand what he can bring to a team when he’s on the top of his game.
The worry is how often he is capable of doing that, but he is seen as an ‘alternative’ to the €20m rated (and too expensive) Lucas Gourna-Douath, and this will likely be in case Spurs agree to some sort of loan.
That’s an issue many clubs around Europe have been facing of late, since Tottenham appear intent on outright selling their deadwood rather than temporarily getting rid of them.
Then again, we all know how quickly things can change in the last few days of the transfer window, as not having a player on your books for a year is better than him sitting on the bench with his full wages needing to be paid.
