It’s finally time for the Brazilian media to bring some news regarding the future of Alex Telles.

Outlet Esporte Interativo did a transfer round-up on Monday night, and their Portugal correspondent Arthur Quezada brought their information on Manchester United’s chase for the Porto left-back.

According to the report, the negotiations ‘are happening and are advanced’, but the numbers he shows are slightly different from those claimed by the European media.

Arthur Quezada says Porto are demanding over €30m for the transfer, who’s protected by a release clause of €40m. Manchester United are trying to push it down to €25m.

Asking for more than €30m seems very unlikely, and reliable reports close to Porto have put the price at around €20m. In addition to that, when PSG were interested earlier this year the price was put at €25m.

Quezada adds, via Twitter, Manchester United want a deal done this week.

Esporte Interativo claims there are two very important agents working on this move. Pini Zahavi, who is the player’s representative, and Jorge Mendes.
