Tottenham are negotiating with Juventus over the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski, with €10m currently separating them from an agreement.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain that talks are very much underway over the deal now that his loan has come to an end.

Earlier today, we covered a report from Italy explaining that Tottenham were set to meet with Juventus this week to thrash out a deal for Kulusevski, who has been on loan at Spurs since January 2022.

That included a purchase clause which they would have been obligated to pay had they qualified for the Champions League but that never happened and so the price is now freely negotiable.

Gazzetta say that Tottenham ‘still want to confirm’ the player as their own but ‘a discount is needed’ if that is to happen this summer.

Juventus don’t want to give up on the €35m fee previously agreed but Tottenham are currently offering €25m, so there is a €10m gap between the pair.

While both Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici have departed, thus removing two of his biggest supporters at the club, Daniel Levy remains a big fan so there is a ‘willingness’ to get the deal done from all parties.

The ‘negotiation is open’ for the Sweden star but at the moment at least, Spurs ‘must raise their offer’ if his move is to be made into a permanent one.
