Even though West Ham star Lucas Paquetá has already said his injury isn’t serious and he should be fine for the World Cup, it seems the national team is still a tad concerned about his situation.

This week, we covered reports from Brazil which said the Seleção doctor Rodrigo Lasmar is set to soon fly to England to analyse the situation of a couple of players.

The Hammers’ midfielder is one of them, along with Tottenham’s Richarlison.

Now as ESPN Brasil comes up with a similar report, they end up claiming that according to people they heard from, ‘the situation that inspires more caution’ is the one of the West Ham player.

They claim that Lasmar had access to all tests done by Paquetá, and just like was said by the player, the exams indeed show that he could be ready in 15 days. However, it’s said injuries in that region of the body are ‘treated with great care’, as they affect other areas as well.

So the West Ham player should be evaluated again by the doctor before the 7th of November, when Brazil come up with their final call up for the tournament.
