Dusan Vlahović’s contract at Juventus runs out in the summer of 2026 and Manchester United have repeatedly been named as an option for the striker.
The Serbia international has scored four times in just as many appearances in all competitions this season, but there is no certainty about whether he will stay in Turin beyond this season.
Gazzetta dello Sport has some details about the 25-year-old, who scored a brace for Juventus in their thrilling 4-4 draw against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
The newspaper claim that barring any surprises, Vlahović will depart the Old Lady next summer. Apart from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Manchester United have been mentioned as an option for him.
This is based on the belief that Joshua Zirkzee hasn’t quite settled in at Old Trafford since his arrival from Bologna in 2024. There is no shortage of suitors for the player in Serie A, but Italian clubs might not be able to afford his salary.
Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona can be more valid options as they have the financial capacity to cover Vlahović’s wages.
This feels like speculation from Gazzetta because the Serbia international is a topic of discussion in Italy this week. There is still a long way to go for next summer and a lot of things can change by then.
Besides, Vlahović and Zirkzee are completely different players.
