Judging by the story that Tuttosport today shares on Torino defender Perr Schuurs, Crystal Palace should have good reasons to be confident about the signing.
The newspaper explains that even though the Turin side were 100% sure they wouldn’t sell him this summer, that stance now changed, and his future will depend on the offers that arrive.
It’s first highlighted that Napoli should be keen on signing Schuurs, as they’d have him as a replacement for Kim Min-jae. It’s just not guaranteed they’d pay the €30m requested by Torino.
That’s where Crystal Palace get a mention, because as said by Tuttosport, that’s not a big investment for Premier League sides.
The newspaper actually sounds very much in favour of the defender’s move to London, claiming that by joining a mid-table club, Schuurs could get regular playing time and have a smooth adaptation to English football.
It’s said Crystal Palace could be ‘ideal’ for the defender’s future. And even though Torino wouldn’t be happy to see him leave, they seem ready to be convinced by a good offer.
