Elia Caprile left Leeds United in the summer, having failed to cement himself in the Yorkshire club’s Premier League squad.
He’d arrived at Elland Road in 2020, clearly seen as a goalkeeping prospect for the future, but Leeds weren’t able to offer him chances and he was sent out on loan to Pro Patria in 2021.
Bari arrived in the summer, interested in a permanent transfer, and were able to secure a cut price deal with Leeds. As part of that move, which has been said to have cost less than €500k, the Whites are due a big chunk of a future transfer.
Serie B News report Caprile is continuing to impress people and attract interested clubs, and they say the latest rumours around Bari are that the stopper could be heading back to the Premier League soon.
No clubs are named, but this is one to keep an eye on.
