Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Matheus Nunes was reportedly involved in a heated argument over the weekend.
That’s today reported by Portuguese outlet Correio da Manhã, who describe a discussion between a group of people with the Wolves player and the entourage of YouTuber IShowSpeed.
The outlet reports that Nunes was having some time off on Saturday, as he wasn’t called up by the national team, and went for a night out in one of the best known clubs in Lisbon.
The player even took his mother along with his friends. There, they met the group led by IShowSpeed. And despite the initial ‘dancing and hugging’, they ended up with ‘several moments of tension and discussion’.
Correio da Manhã says the arguments first took place on the dance floor, and then continued the club’s restrooms. It’s highlighted that the Wolves player quickly went to ‘defend his mother’, but it isn’t made clear whether there were any aggression between the groups.
IShowSpeed went viral at the weekend after meeting Cristiano Ronaldo, but apparently wasn’t so impressed to meet Matheus Nunes and his friends.
