James Rodriguez’s discontent with Everton’s recent results in the Premier League is doing the rounds in the Colombian media today.

The Toffees’ star was live on Twitch at the weekend, playing video games and speaking to fans, and was asked about Friday’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

Rodriguez, who won a penalty which resulted in Everton’s first goal, seemed happy with his performance, but disappointed for letting a win escape from their hands again.

“The game was good, I felt good, I played well, but drawing at all times is also very hard,” said Rodriguez (via FutbolRed).

Besides Everton’s defensive mistakes, James Rodriguez points out that their attacking sector hasn’t been doing great either.

“We have to be a little more focused and score goals, we’re missing a lot. We have options and we miss it, so it’s very complicated.”

Everton haven’t won any of their past five games. Following defeats against Chelsea and Burnley, in which the Colombian star didn’t take part due to injury, the draws against Crystal Palace, Brighton and Tottenham all had the 29-year-old in the starting team.

Everton now prepare for a tough challenge against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night. That’s likely to be one of their last chances to try to get a spot in a European competition for next season, depending, of course, on what happens with the Super League monstrosity.
