Two days ago, Akşam stated Galatasaray have concerns over Hakim Ziyech’s availability for the Champions League clash against Manchester United on Tuesday.
At the weekend, the Turkish champions sealed a 2-1 win over MKE Ankaragücü, and Okan Buruk left the 30-year-old out of the squad while Tanguy Ndombélé finished the tie as an unused substitute.
According to Takvim, both Ziyech and the midfielder have ‘minor injuries’ but will be in the squad to face Manchester United.
The duo were rested against Ankaragücü with a view to having minutes at Old Trafford, and the report states there is a possibility for the two players to make substitute appearances.
Takim state Buruk already had a training session yesterday but they make no mention of whether Ziyech or the 26-year-old Frenchman took part in it.
Over at TRT Spor, they report left-back Kazımcan Karataş will miss the European tie due to an injury and then provide an update on the former Chelsea man’s fitness.
It’s claimed the Moroccan continues to train individually and his availability to face Erik ten Hag’s side ‘will become clear’ after the last training session later today.
