As Juventus continue to dream of signing Paul Pogba in the summer, it seems that they now have his agent Mino Raiola as an ally.
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the representative has recently been at the Old Lady’s headquarters, and took the opportunity to talk about the Frenchman.
Juventus see the transfer as a piece of magic that only Raiola could pull off, and that’s why they trust the agent to convince Manchester United.
What the agent would try to do is to get a two-year loan deal, with a buying clause at the end of the spell. Something Juventus like to do a lot when it comes to expensive transfers.
Besides making the impossible transfer possible, Raiola would also have to sort out the player’s salary, as Juve can’t afford the €9m Pogba makes per season.
In case Juve can’t get Pogba, then they would go for a Manchester United target. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has a salary of €1.5m per season, so the club could pay three times more. The problem is the auction that is expected for the Lazio player, which should start from €80m.
This sounds quite fanciful stuff on behalf of Juventus.
