AC Milan seem about to finally complete the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato now writes that the Rossoneri chiefs are now ‘in the details’ with the Blues to get the transfer done.
According to their report, the move should be completed with Milan paying Chelsea a fee of €15m.
The story highlights how Loftus-Cheek had been ‘pushing for a new adventure’, and a move out of the Stamford Bridge was a consequence of his desire.
With his arrival at Milan now claimed to be ‘near’, it shouldn’t take long until the clubs make the deal official.
Loftus-Cheek spent over a decade at Chelsea, as he was a product of the Blues’ academy. In his first few years as a professional, he also had loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham.
The midfielder is set to leave Stamford Bridge with 155 appearances made for the club, also with 13 goals and 18 assists.
It was several months ago that Milan started being linked to him, and it seems they finally got the signing for a price they felt reasonable.
