Manuel Ugarte has been left out of Paris Saint Germain training as the club continue to try and push him towards an exit, and perhaps Manchester United.
That’s according to journalist Loïc Tanzi, who reports that Ugarte is one of three players alongside Danilo and Nordi Madueke who is not a part of PSG training at present.
Tanzi reports that the three players have been left out of training by PSG manager Luis Enrique, a clear sign that they are not a part of his plans and can leave PSG this summer.
The latter is a distinct possibility, and they could go before the end of the transfer window, although there is no mention of any potential bids from clubs at this moment in time.
Manchester United have been heavily linked to Ugarte for weeks but a deal has not been agreed as yet, despite it being reported at the beginning of the month that PSG’s demands had collapsed as they looked to get rid.
There’s been no progress in the 13 days since but Manchester United have been busy doing other deals for the likes of Noussair Mazraoui and Mathijs de Ligt.
The opportunity is clearly still there, though, and PSG’s refusal to even allow Ugarte to train with the group is an obvious sign that they’re ready and willing to sell.
It means the Uruguayan is a name to keep an eye on, with him surely unhappy with the situation and keen to work something out too.
