At this point, it seems it would take a lot for Denis Suarez’s move to Arsenal to collapse.

With reports of an agreement already emerging early on Tuesday morning, the Spaniard’s transfer is now entering its final stages.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Denis Suarez didn’t train with the Barcelona squad this afternoon as he was ‘finalising the paperwork’ ahead of his loan move to the Emirates.

The La Liga leaders gave their midfielder permission to skip the session in order to put the finishing touches on the deal after both clubs ‘reactivated’ his exit.

Before heading to Arsenal, Suarez will sign a new contract with Barcelona, keeping him at the club until 2021.

The Gunners are said to be paying €2m up front for the loan deal and will reserve the right to make the transfer permanent at a later date should they so wish, but there is no obligation for them to do so.

The amount of the future fee has yet to be revealed.
