Formed in 1876 by Middlesbrough Cricket Club members, Middlesbrough FC (“Boro”) is a historic North Yorkshire club, turning professional in 1899 and becoming a founder member of the Premier League in 1992. Based at the Riverside Stadium since 1995, highlights include the 2004 League Cup win, the 2006 UEFA Cup Final, and a 1914 3rd-place top-flight finish
