Super-agent Jorge Mendes has offered Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Moutinho to Valencia for next season.

That’s according to Grada 3, who insist the Portuguese star is available on a free transfer despite his contract not expiring until next summer.

The website believe that Mendes has offered Mendes to Valencia on a free transfer, which is ‘essential’ for the Spanish club.

They’re desperate to improve their midfield, and this is something Mendes is aware of, offering the Wolves star on a free transfer to tempt Peter Lim.

The website states the Portugal international is available for free as his deal at Wolves is expiring, although that is not the case, as he signed a new until 2022 in 2019.

Either way, they claim Moutinho is ‘looking for a team’ for next season as he has no intention of hanging up his boots, and Mendes has offered him to Valencia as a result.

All of this rests on the fact that he would be available on a free, though, which is not remotely true as his current contract doesn’t expire until next year.

So either Mendes is cooking something up with Wolves for Moutinho to be let go a year early, or Grada 3 haven’t done their research properly for this particular story.

We’re more inclined to think it’s the latter at this point, so if you do see this rumour, you know where it has come from.
