Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombélé has been on loan at Galatasaray since September, but the move hasn’t worked out well for him so far.
The midfielder has only clocked in 280 minutes from 10 games, which includes three starts, this season.
On December 4th, Milliyet reported the Istanbul club’s staff have a negative opinion of the 26-year-old. Three days later, Fanatik stated the Tottenham owned player would be given a last chance to prove his worth at Galatasaray.
Ndombélé seems to have not made the most of the opportunities presented to him by Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk if a latest report from Milliyet is to be believed.
The Turkish champions signed the player on loan with an option to buy in the last window. It’s claimed they are not only going to not activate it but are ‘expected’ to hold a meeting with Tottenham to discuss terminating his temporary deal.
After being relegated to the Europa League, Galatasaray apparently have started working ahead of the winter market.
The report says their plan is to send both the Frenchman and Angeliño back to Tottenham and RB Leipzig respectively and then bring in a replacement for the duo.
Ange Postecoglou and Spurs would have to make a decision of Ndombélé if he were to return to north London next month, as the midfielder does not enter any of the plans currently in place in London.
