AC Milan’s interest in Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is again being reported by the Italian media today.
It’s Calcio Mercato who feature a story claiming the Rossoneri, who’ve been looking for new additions, recently had a meeting with the Stellar Group.
The chat was ‘particularly fruitful’, according to the report, and one of the names discussed was Loftus-Cheek.
Calcio Mercato points out that the midfielder’s contract with Chelsea runs until 2024 and the Blues are ‘increasingly willing’ to use the option to extend it until 2025.
However, it’s claimed that in case an interesting offer arrives at Stamford Bridge, then the London side would consider a sale.
Milan’s interest in Loftus-Cheek had already been reported by the Italian media last month, and it’s once again said that Paolo Maldini is ‘thinking about him’ for next season.
It isn’t said how much it would take to convince Chelsea to let the player go next year. The midfielder is valued by Transfermarkt at €25m, although that’s no indication of what the club would want.
