Former Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has insisted striker Sasa Kalajdzic might struggle with a move to Old Trafford.
Kalajdzic is among the group of forwards who are being closely followed by the big sides in Europe.
This summer has seen him linked with the likes of Bayern and Manchester United, despite a disappointing campaign last year that was hindered by injury.
Talks have already been held with Bayern as they need a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, while a move to Manchester United has been touted should Cristiano Ronaldo get the move away from Old Trafford that he wants.
For most a move to either club would be too much of a leap forward for Kalajdzic.
Schweinsteiger is of the same mind, believing the striker may be wise to look elsewhere.
“I have a high regard for Sasa,” he told Kronen Zeitung.
“(He is) a slightly different centre-forward, not done developing yet.
“Now he has to reach the next level, but from my experience, maybe the jump would be too big.”
