Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has revealed that many clubs have been interested in signing him lately.

With 28 goals in 43 appearances this season, the Colombian star is having a pretty good form for Steven Gerrard’s side, making him a man to be watched by other European clubs.

Morelos has joined the Colombian national team this weekend, and when speaking to journalist, he wasn’t shy about talking up interest following his good Rangers form.

“Things have been done in the best way, there are many teams that have asked for me,” Alfredo Morelos told the Colombian press (via Futbol Red) “But I am focused on Rangers, and with this opportunity that I have in the national team, I must take advantage so that in the summer things will be defined. However, at the moment, there is nothing certain.”

Morelos has joined the national team for the friendlies against Japan and South Korea. As the 22-year-old has only one appearance for the national team so far, he must prove himself so he can get a spot in the squad which will play the Copa America in Brazil this year.

That’s why he explains he’s pretty focused on doing well in these friendlies, as he knows there’s big competition to get a place in the team: “I have to have a lot of positive mentality, we know that there is a lot of potential and many teammates who are doing things well. For my part, I have to do things well to earn a place in the national team.”

And to do that, he has to continue playing well for Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
