For the past few days, the Italian media has been featuring many reports on how much AC Milan would like to pay for the permanent signing of Diogo Dalot from Manchester United.

It’s even been claimed the Rossoneri may want to delay their decision until next year, meaning they’d ask the Red Devils for another loan, this time with a buying option.

That situation is analysed by website Milan News, who make it clear that there are chances for the Serie A side not to stay with the fullback following the current spell.

After claiming that Milan will sign Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea, they say Dalot’s situation is different, since there are ‘doubts’ regarding how much Manchester United will demand for the transfer.

The website even names a few players who could replace Dalot next season, even though that would mean Milan making two signings, since the Red Devils’ loanee has been featuring on both sides of the pitch.

The story is another sign from the Italian media that the Rossoneri will not buy Dalot at any cost, so Manchester United better be aware they may have to sell him for little in case they want him gone this summer.
