The Jadon Sancho summer games appear to be kicking off via the German media. Earlier today we covered claims from Ruhr Nachrichten that the England international will be available this summer, but not for much below €100m.

Bild now report Sancho has been told he can leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, yet it’ll take a transfer between €90m and €100m including bonuses. The German newspaper suggest that’s a good price, by also saying Sancho is likely to be one of the biggest stars of Euro 2020, so his value (which they currently put at €100m) ‘could explode’.

And which club appears the target of all of this? Manchester United, with Bild saying the Red Devils have been ‘warned’, given they know Liverpool and Chelsea are also keen on the signing.

According to Bild, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side faced transfer ’embarrassment’ last summer when they failed to take Sancho to Old Trafford, and it would be the same this time around if a rival like Liverpool or Chelsea were to get in ahead.

As for Borussia Dortmund, they’re said to be targeting Lille’s Jonathan Ikoné as a replacement.

Not so long ago, the Sancho fee had been dragged down as low as €80m, it would appear BVB are making efforts to change that.
