Manchester United could be set for a tussle with Real Madrid for Adrien Rabiot as Juventus push for him to make a decision on his future.
That’s according to Calciomercato.it, who say Juventus are now growing tired of waiting for the Frenchman and want a decision from him so they can plan accordingly.
The midfielder is out of contract at Juventus at the of this month and is yet to signal whether he will be signing a new and improved deal at the Italian giants or leaving on a free transfer.
His participation in Euro 2024 with France has delayed matters somewhat but it seems Juventus have now run out of patience on the matter.
They want a definitive answer from the midfielder on whether he is going to accept their contract offer or more on.
If it is the latter, there are already ‘many clubs’ surrounding the Frenchman and evaluating a deal for him on a free transfer. Real Madrid and Manchester United are named specifically, alongside Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Thus, a transfer tussle could be set to start in the coming weeks, if Rabiot makes it clear that he will be leaving Juventus.
Of course, it’s not the first time he’s been linked with Manchester United, who have been credited with an interest for a number of years without it ever becoming something concrete. Perhaps this summer is the one in which that changes.
