Over the past few days, several claims have talked about Manchester United’s desire to sign Atalanta star Éderson.
On Friday, AS stated Manchester United are in constant talks with the Serie A side and the 25-year-old over a potential deal.
On Wednesday, journalist Alfredo Pedullà said Manchester United officials were at La Dea’s headquarters this week to sort out the paperwork related to Rasmus Højlund’s transfer last summer.
He also stated the Red Devils officials asked the Serie A side about the midfielder.
Alfredo Pedullà has come up with a fresh report on Manchester United’s interest in the Brazil international. The Premier League side felt yesterday’s meeting was the ‘right opportunity’ to sign Éderson.
He says Manchester United not only requested information, but also tabled a €50m bid. This wasn’t entertained by the Europa League winners, who refused to sell him in the last 10 days of the window.
Atalanta are in the process of selling Teun Koopmeiners this summer and losing Éderson would have been a blow for them.
Manchester United have an excellent relationship with the Italian club. Therefore, Pedullà claims it’s not ruled out for Erik ten Hag’s side to try and sign him in the near future.
