Manchester United’s pursuit of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat may just have had a very interesting development.
According to reports from the Italian media, the player was left out of his club’s pre-season tour in England.
Calciomercato shows that, for no apparent reason, the Moroccan will be staying in Italy while Fiorentina have their friendlies against European clubs.
The outlet then obviously relates that to the recent rumours linking him to Manchester United.
They claim he’s the ‘most talked’ purple man in the transfer market, saying his farewell has always been a ‘question mark’.
Fiorentina, however, haven’t been receiving proposals for his transfer, and that makes the whole situation a little strange.
Now with him left out of the squad, Calciomercato wonders if that’s finally the ‘prelude’ of his exit from the club.
It’s said Manchester United are the club who came the ‘closest’ to Aamrabat in the past few weeks.
On Friday morning, Gazzetta dello Sport featured a story claiming Fiorentina are waiting for the Red Devils to make a new move after an offer was rejected.
