As Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio today shares an update on Juventus’ latest transfer business, he doesn’t bring very good news for Manchester United.
According to his story, the negotiations between the Red Devils and Adrien Rabiot have ‘slowed down’.
Di Marzio claims there are ‘very high requests’ from the French player, as he ‘remains unconvinced’ about a move to Manchester United, where he wouldn’t be able to play in the Champions League this season.
Juventus, who seem fine with Rabiot’s move to Old Trafford, now find themselves ‘at a standstill’ regarding the arrival of Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint Germain, as one transfer still depends on the other.
The Italian media has been claiming for days that there’s an agreement between Manchester United and the Old Lady for the transfer, as the main issue is to convince the player that a move to the Red Devils is the best option for his career.
It’s been, however, over ten days since those talks started, and that’s probably a reason for Erik ten Hag to worry about the chances of the Frenchman’s arrival.
