Slask Wroclaw youngster Karol Borys is ‘currently on trial’ with Manchester United ahead of a potential move to Old Trafford.

That’s according to the academy at the Polish club, who tweeted the news out to their followers today.

They reported that Borys has travelled to England for a trial with Manchester United and was recently visited by Poland ‘national team selector’ Czesław Michniewicz, who has backed the 15-year-old for a bright future in the game.

Manchester United’s interest in Borys is nothing new, with Gazeta Wroclawska reporting back in January that they were keen and that he was heading to Manchester in February.

When in February, that would be happening wasn’t revealed at the time, but it appears the temporary switch has already happened, and he is already playing for United.

That report in January explained that should Manchester United want to sign the youngster permanently, they will have to pay a fee as he signed a professional contract with Silesia in October last year.

It seems United are putting the time in, though, with Sport reporting that Borys watched their recent clash with Brighton.

This is all backed up by Super Express, who state that Manchester United are showing ‘great interest’ in the 15-year-old, who they label a ‘great talent of Polish football’.

According to them, Ralf Rangnick and co may be ‘tempted’ to make a move and confirm a fee will be involved due to his contract, which runs until 2023.

In the meantime, Michniewicz has been signing his praises, posting a photo with the youngster at Altrincham Football Club on Instagram alongside the caption ‘Karol Borys, this boy is worth remembering. A player of Slask Wroclaw and in a moment may be MU.’

That’s certainly high praise, so keep an eye out for Borys’ name moving forwards, with a move to Old Trafford seemingly in the offing.
