Due to the the great seven years Casemiro had in Spain, the local media still makes big coverage of his steps at Manchester United.
That’s why it’s Marca who today breaks the news about an ‘important offer’ the midfielder has to leave the Red Devils in January.
It’s said that Casemiro now has the chance to move to Saudi Arabia and is reportedly been considering a ‘change of scenery’ of late.
Marca claims that this offer comes with ‘a lot of money’, and that could match with Manchester United’s desire to ‘completely overhaul the squad’, especially when suggestions appeared that the Brazilian’s transfer was one Sir Jim Ratcliffe wouldn’t have sanctioned had he been in charge at the time.
The Red Devils’s deal to buy him from Real Madrid could get to €70m depending on bonuses, and according to the story, the idea is to recover part of that amount.
Manchester United aren’t expected to get all that money with the sale, though, so they shall now wait and see how much the Saudis will put on the table.
Casemiro has been struggling with injuries this season, and has only made 12 appearances in all competitions, having last played for Erik ten Hag’s side on the 1st of November.
