It’s been a while since Manchester United were first linked to Justin Bijlow. With the Red Devils looking for a replacement for David De Gea, the Feyenoord goalkeeper was one of the names on Erik ten Hag’s list.
The club’s pursuit of André Onana, who was signed from Inter Milan, never seemed like an obstacle in the chase for the Dutch player, since he’d arrive to be the number two at Old Trafford.
Now as 1908.nl features an update on Bijlow’s current situation with Feyenoord, they claim Manchester United continue to be very much interested in him.
It’s claimed that the Eredivisie side are currently offering the goalkeeper a new contract. Despite recent struggles to convince him, a new and improved offer was put on the table this week.
Still, it’s highlighted that Manchester United have shown ‘explicit interest’ in the Netherlands international, as they continue to ‘explore the market’ for Onana’s alternative.
1908.nl write that Bijlow continues to be scouted by Manchester United, and that appears to be something circling the player while he decides whether to sign this new deal with Feyenoord.
