Manchester United will scout Sandro Tonali during Brescia’s clash with Juventus tonight, according to FC Inter News.
Tonali has emerged as one of the hottest young properties in Italy over the last year, with many predicting a bright future for the 19-year-old.
His performances have caught the eye of several top European sides, and Manchester United are among them.
FC Inter News say that United will have a scout in attendance for the clash with Juventus, specifically to watch Tonali and report back on his development.
They are not the only club keen on him, with Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund also set to be at the game with the same task in mind.
Inter have been suitors for some time and watched Tonali on several occasions last season, although they failed to make a move as Brescia were demanding €30m for his signature.
Manchester United are likewise known to be long-term admirers, and reports in Italy have claimed they are ‘always vigilant’ about how the midfielder is progressing.
Tonali certainly fits the profile of player United have looked to sign of late, with the club heavily focused on signing young talent under Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Likewise, a defensive midfielder, particularly a long-term replacement for Nemanja Matic, would be a welcome addition.
Whether they would be willing to pay the rumoured asking price of €30m, which may have increased at this point, is debatable, although they showed a willingness to pay big money with the capture of Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
