Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri has emerged as a target for Beşiktaş, according to Fanatik.
Şenol Güneş has requested a No.10 and the Black Eagles have until Friday, when the Turkish transfer window closes, to please their manager.
Beşiktaş have their focus on the 20-year-old and have even made contact with Manchester United for a deal.
The Turkish club initially offered a loan deal with a purchase option but this was turned down by the Premier League side.
It’s said Beşiktaş have returned with another proposal of a dry loan deal but Manchester United are reluctant to let the Tunisia international go.
Fanatik state ‘all eyes’ are on Erik ten Hag as he’s yet to make a decision on whether to retain the player at Old Trafford. Even though Mejbri impressed the Dutchman in the pre-season, the report states the manager is still undecided on this topic.
This, for now, may not suit Beşiktaş because they are waiting for Ten Hag’s final decision.
Last season, Mejbri was on loan at Birmingham City, where he managed a goal and six assists from 41 games. He hasn’t made an appearance for Manchester United this season.
