Last week, Tuttosport reported Manchester United see Gleison Bremer as an ‘ideal’ target to bolster their defence. It was also stated the Premier League side are expected to have a meeting with Juventus in the near future.
It’s not clear when the meeting will take place, but the Italian media continue to push the Red Devils as a candidate.
Calciomercato explain that ‘Manchester United above all’ are in the race to sign the centre-back who is ‘among the best in the world’.
The Red Devils are expected to bring in a reliable centre-back and the focus seems to be on the 26-year-old, who signed a new contract [until 2028] in December.
The report states no Juventus players are ‘untransferable’. In other words, the Manchester United target can leave the Turin club if they were to receive the ‘right offer’.
Juve want to hold on the Brazilian but could change their mind if there’s an offer of ‘no less than €70m’ excluding bonuses. It’s not clear whether Erik ten Hag’s side are willing to meet this request.
Manchester United are the only interested club named in the report and it’s claimed they have been following the Brazilian for some time. Calciomercato are of the belief Bremer’s profile and style of play would fit perfectly at Old Trafford.
