Having now all but signed André Onana, Manchester United will want to move onto the next piece of business, which could be signing a new striker.

There is a big gap in their squad, which Wout Weghorst struggled to fill last season, and signing a new number nine appears crucial for Erik ten Hag’s long-term goals at Old Trafford.

One of the names pushed forward a lot has been Rasmus Højlund, and Tutto Atalanta bring some decent news to their readers if they want to see the player sold to Manchester United.

That’s because they state the Danish forward is the dream for the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and the Red Devils, and the latter ‘could present a new official offer in the next few days’, as the player has ‘long been in the sights’ of Ten Hag.

Højlund has joined the list of targets at San Siro following the club’s decision to pull out of their attempts to sign Romelu Lukaku, and see the Dane as an alternative to him.

He would, however, be rather expensive, as the article state Atalanta would only let the Manchester United goal leave for a fee of €55-60m.

While the Red Devils could likely afford that, Inter cannot.

As for Juventus, they could, if they sell Dusan Vlahovic, who remains a target for a number of clubs looking to bolster their attack this summer.
