It now just seems like a matter of time until Facundo Pellistri leaves Manchester United for Granada.
Uguayan outlet El País are the latest to bring a take on the transfer, and claim that ‘everything is underway’ for the winger to move to La Liga.
The information was confirmed to El Pais by the player’s entourage, who claim that the transfer could be closed ‘in the next few hours’.
It’s said Manchester United and Granada have been in talks for days, and the announcement should take place between tonight and tomorrow.
The Uruguayan outlet takes the move as ‘good news’ for national team manager Marcelo Bielsa, as they’ll see Pellistri getting more playing time than he was having at Manchester United.
The winger has had only 366 minutes on the pitch under Erik ten Hag this season, with only one assist and no goals in 14 appearances.
This is the third time Manchester United have loaned Pellistri out, as he had two consecutive spells at Spanish side Alavés. His contract with the Red Devils runs until 2025, with the option for another year.
