Facundo Pellistri’s agents are ‘quite enthusiastic’ about sending the Manchester United youngster to FC Twente this summer.
That’s according to journalist Leon ten Voorde, who says the player’s team can see him spending a season on loan in the Netherlands.
Several reports have indicated that Manchester United are looking to send Pellistri out on loan this summer after he spent last year mostly sat on the bench.
The youngster does not appear to be a part of Erik ten Hag’s plans for the time being and a loan spell would be smart to offer him regular playing time to continue his development.
Twente have been linked with a move for the winger and, indeed, a report earlier today claimed that Ten Hag would like to send the player to his former club if he were to make the decision.
It seems the player’s representatives are also keen on the move to the Dutch club if he is to leave Manchester United this summer, at least according to Ten Voorde’s information.
“What I heard is that his management is quite enthusiastic about Twente,” he said on the De Ballen Verstand podcast.
“But it is very much about what ‘The Boss’ wants. Suppose that boy is doing very well now, then it will be a more difficult story. Wait and see. In any case, a right forward is still needed.”
