There’s finally an exciting update on Matteo Darmian’s saga to return to Italy today, as Juventus officials are reportedly meeting the player’s agents.
As reported by website Calcio Mercato, Old Lady director Fabio Paratici has been in a meeting with representatives Tullio Tinti, Paolo Castellini and Manuel Montipò this afternoon.
According to the report, the meeting was held at Milan’s Palazzo Parigi hotel, making the transfer sound more likely than ever.
But Calcio Mercato continues to claim that Juventus are not alone in the race for the Manchester United player, as Inter Milan and Napoli are also interested.
Still yesterday, we’ve been covering claims from Italy which said that Darmian already had an agreement to join Juventus, as the Old Lady were just waiting for Alex Sandro’s sale to PSG to be confirmed so they could move for the Man United player.
According to Tutto Mercato Web, the Premier League side are demanding €18m for the Italian fullback.
