The big Premier League clubs are not the only ones who scout players. Their stars, even if rarely, are closely watched too.

This is the case of the Manchester United defender Daley Blind, who is on  Inter Milan’s radar, according to claims from Italy.

The website Inter Live exclusively says the Dutch player was scouted during the international match between Sweden and Netherlands in Stockholm on Tuesday.

Inter weren’t watching only Blind. Emil Forsberg (RB Leipzig), Victor Lindelof (Benfica) and Joel Veltman (Ajax) were all under scrutiny.

The Italian side’s interest in Victor Lindelof has been widely reported, and since the other Dutch players worked under Frank de Boer at Ajax, it’s a list that makes much sense.

Daley Blind was said to be on Manchester United’s transfer list shortly after José Mourinho’s arrival. But the reports were proven wrong, and after a few impressive performances under the new manager, it’s very hard to believe the club will let him go anytime soon.

Inter were linked to him in 2014, but the player ended up signing for Manchester United in a €17.5m deal.
