It appears that Eric Bailly is now edging closer to an exit from Manchester United after the transfer window has been closed in England.
Besiktas are the ones trying to sign him, and they want to do it on Monday so they can include him in their squad for the Conference League.
A Spor in Turkey are now reporting that a big step has been made to that effect, and that’s an agreement being reached between the Manchester United defender and the Süper Lig club.
The outlet explain that a ‘decision has been made’ regarding who they are going to sign, and it will be the Ivory Coast international.
Besiktas have reached a ‘one year agreement’ with the centre-back, who is currently contracted to Manchester United, but the 29-year-old ‘continues to negotiate’ his release from the club and a termination of his current contract at Old Trafford.
It was earlier reported that the Turkish side were having to decide which player they wanted to sign between Nino, David Luiz and Eric Bailly.
It was then revealed that with a deal for the other two a bit more complicated, it was more likely to be the Manchester United outcast, with that now well on its way.
