Manchester United loanee Alex Telles has now set a date for his return from injury.
The Brazilian left-back had a knee issue during the World Cup, and made an early return to his loan club Sevilla to take care of it.
Now according to Diario de Sevilla, Telles has started work to be ready to play again in February.
The outlet explains that the Manchester United loanee had a ‘partial rupture grade 2-3 of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee’, and despite an initial assessment from the national team for surgery, which would rule him out for the rest of the season, the player decided along with Sevilla doctors to try a more conservative treatment.
Telles has already started the recovery process and is working at Sevilla’s facilities with physiotherapists and doctors. The ‘objective’ is that he’s ready to feature for them again in a couple of months.
The fullback’s recovery should be crucial for his future, since the Spanish club only have him on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season, and must have convincing appearances from him before taking any decision on a potential purchase.
