Victor Lindelof is somehow still at Manchester United and despite previous links with a move away from Old Trafford, the Swede has never looked desperate for an exit.
He’s played only 58 minutes in the Premier League this season and is quite low down the club’s pecking order for centre-backs.
Lindelof’s current deal at Manchester United runs out next summer and there are now indications that he is looking to move on and his entourage is at work.
TuttoSport today report that the centre-back has offered himself to Juventus, who find themselves in a bit of a crisis due to the injuries suffered by Bremer and Juan Cabal. The story makes their front page.
The outlet state that Cristiano Guintoli, the club’s sporting director, is being inundated with contact from agents. Lindelof has been put forward to the Bianconeri by his entourage.
The Manchester United defender’s agents have an excellent relationship with Guintoli, who sold their client Denis Zakaria to AS Monaco not too long ago.
Juve appreciate Lindelof’s profile and his playing style but his age doesn’t quite meet their plans. At the same time, his contract situation makes him an attractive opportunity for January and next summer.
The Italian side have ‘memorised’ that the player will be available for the move and they will make a final decision about the Red Devils man later on.
