Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is about to complete his move to Boca Juniors, according to reports from Argentina.
Amid all the excitement around the signing, TyC Sports says the player still hasn’t had his medical, but is expected to do so before 3pm on Saturday, then sign a contract.
Reporter Tato Aguillera says Boca Juniors want the player to be with them as soon as possible, and are working to make his presentation right when things are completely done.
Asked if there’s a chance he could train with La Bombonera before that, the journalist says they’re actually being quite respectful to Manchester United, and that’s why Rojo is only training on his own for now.
Marcos Rojo is expected to sign a two-year contract with Boca Juniors, with an option for a further one. He’d be arriving at the Buenos Aires side for free, as Manchester United are letting him end his contract, which expires in the summer.
