Having failed to fully convince Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, Victor Lindelöf appears to be living his last few months in a red shirt.
The Sweden international has been mildly linked to a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, but Inter Live have an article suggesting he could be offered as a pawn in a deal for Benjamin Pavard, once a target for the Old Trafford side.
It’s explained that this a move that Inter Milan would be ‘reluctant’ to take into consideration, mostly because the centre-back hasn’t convinced at Manchester United.
A lot of his time has happened because of injuries, before suffering a setback of his own, returning in the 3-0 win against West Ham for two minutes, before coming off the bench in the 2-1 win against Aston Villa, replacing Luke Shaw.
Inter Live explain Lindelöf’s future is ‘projected away’ from England, as Manchester United could undergo a ‘mini-revolution’ in the summer.
In fact, were he offered to Inter, there would be ‘no positive factors’ for the Serie A side, especially as the player ‘would like to tread a less tortuous path’ than one in European football, reportedly ‘likely embracing’ one of the many offers from Saudi Arabia.
One to keep an eye on.
