Speaking to the Spanish media on Thursday, Facundo Pellistri’s agent revealed that the player could be on his way to a La Liga club, on a loan move from Manchester United.
Signed by the Red Devils last summer, the Uruguayan youngster still hasn’t been able to make his debut for the first team, and is now looking for a place where he can have his first minutes in European football.
Now there’s a little mystery regarding which club would be Pellistri’s destination, and the latest news from Spain says he could join Almeria.
Website Cazurreando reports the player was already linked to the club last year, and could now ‘immediately’ make the move.
Even though Cazurreando isn’t a big outlet in Spain, other big websites such as Diario de Almeria and El Desmarque are already making some noise with the claims.
Still, reports from the English media today have also been saying that Pellistri should be on his way to Celta Vigo. So we should keep an eye on the next updates, although it seems clear now that the Manchester United youngster will spend a few months in Spain.
