Although Alexis Sanchez’s departure from Manchester United this year is almost expected, it looks like it may not happen so early in the summer.

That’s because in a story from newspaper El Mercurio, it’s claimed that there’s no rush for the player to find a new club.

The outlet starts with claims from the English media which said Inter Milan would be keen on signing the Chilean international at the end of the season, only in case he accepts a pay cut.

But people close to Sanchez have dismissed the Nerazzurri’s interest, saying there’s nothing about it. They’ve also added ‘any subject about the player’s future’ will only be analysed after the Copa America.

The Copa America is being played in Brazil this year, from June 14th to July 7th. So with the Premier League transfer window closing on the 8th of August, Manchester United would have a month to sort Sanchez’ departure and bring a replacement for the 2019/20 season.
