Manchester United are moving for the signing of Monaco right-back Vanderson, according to reports.

It’s the player’s home country’s media who shares the news today, with Zero Hora revealing the pursuit.

In its headline, the outlet writes that Manchester United ‘made an offer’ for the 21-year-old.

The text, however, shows that the proposal wasn’t that official. It’s claimed that the Red Devils told Monaco about their interest and ‘outlined a bid’ for this signing.

Zero Hora claims the French club didn’t like the amount placed on the table. They value the player highly and request €50m for his sale.

That may sound like a bump for Manchester United, but the report is actually still positive about a potential deal.

It’s claimed that despite Monaco’s big demands, Vanderson’s departure is ‘likely in the coming weeks’, as the chat behind the scenes is that the transfer is ‘possible’.

There’s just no guarantee that it’s only Manchester United who could get to a deal with the French club, as it’s claimed that several Premier League clubs are also interested in the Brazilian.

It’s worth recalling that last week, the Red Devils announced the new contract of Diogo Dalot, so perhaps Vanderson’s arrival could mean the end for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
