Manchester United are keen on signing Le Havre’s Enzo Kana-Biyik in the summer window.
That’s according to a report L’Equipe, and they cover Manchester United’s efforts to wrap up this operation quickly.
The 18-year-old is a product of the Ligue 1 side’s youth system but hasn’t made his first team debut yet.
Le Havre manager Didier Digard had the striker on the bench in the Coupe de France loss to Stade Briochin in December. He scored nine goals and registered an assist from 15 games for Le Havre U19s this season.
The youngster’s performances have attracted interest from Manchester United, who, as per L’Equipe, have decided to bet on him. It’s claimed the ‘talks are advanced’ between the Red Devils, Kana-Biyik and his entourage.
Kana-Biyik’s club want him to stay, but their wish is unlikely to be fulfilled as the report says he could leave in the coming weeks.
The French newspaper further add several sources have informed them of an ‘imminent outcome’ in favour of Manchester United.
If they were complete this operation, Kana-Biyik may not immediately be part of Ruben Amorim’s plans. The English club could initially include him part of their youth teams.
