With Manchester United director John Murtough being pictured leaving Turin on Friday afternoon, it became clear that the first round of negotiations for Adrien Rabiot came to an end.

Despite spotting the official in Italy, the local media didn’t really have immediate details of how the talks went. Local outlets had already reported an agreement between Red Devils and Juventus, but were still to know whether the Premier League side was able to find an agreement with the player.

It turns out Tutto Mercato Web now comes up with their story on the current scenario. And they claim that despite a meeting between Manchester United, and Rabiot’s mother and agent, there’s still no deal.

It’s said the talks ‘did not in fact lead to a white smoke’, and new talks are set to happen next week.

Tutto Mercato Web insists that Manchester United and Juventus already have an agreement to make the transfer for just over €15m. So a personal agreement with Rabiot, or with his mother, is what is left for the transfer to happen.
