Two months ago, Sport reported that Manchester United are the only team ‘maintaining their interest’ in Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé.

The winger’s current deal at the Camp Nou runs down on June 30th and has not found an agreement with the La Liga side so far to extend his stay at the club beyond this season.

Manchester United were previously named as one of his suitors, while Paris Saint-Germain are said to be the 24-year-old’s next potential destination.

The Red Devils and the Ligue 1 winners have maintained an interest to sign the France international on a free transfer in the upcoming window.

El Chiringuito journalist Darío Montero talks about both Manchester United and PSG, and also provides fresh updates on the efforts made by these two clubs to acquire the player’s services.

Montero claims the Premier League side are ‘offering’ the former Borussia Dortmund man a deal that includes a net salary ‘between €10m and €15m’. The French champions’ offer, on the other hand, ‘could reach €17m’.

The journalist further adds Xavi Hernández’s side are aware of the proposals Dembélé has received from Manchester United and PSG, meaning Barcelona will have to act swiftly if they want to retain the player beyond his current deal.
