The Leny yoro situation is starting to look a little brighter for Manchester United, with Real Madrid sticking to their guns and not going to the figures Lille are asking for.
There’s been various claims about what Los Blancos want to pay for the defender, who now has less than a year left on his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
According to the latest claims, they don’t really want to go above €20m, although some have put it at €40m.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are thought to be ready to pay much more. Nabil Djellit reports the Red Devils and Lille have agreed a €62m fee.
That fee is made up of a €50m straight payment and a further €12m in potential bonuses.
Yoro would now be talking to Manchester United to agree his salary with the Premier League club. Real Madrid are still in the picture, but appear to be slipping behind.
Quite why United would be prepared to go so high when Madrid won’t go near those figures is unknown. Sure, they’d have to pay more than what Los Blancos would offer, but so much more feels a stretch.
Info (suite). Lille a bien accepté offre de 50 + 12 (62M€). Leny #Yoro est en négociation avec Manchester United sur des conditions salariales. Tendance favorable et porte ouverte à ManUtd. Le Real toujours là mais en retrait. #Mercato https://t.co/N3C3odGMKq
